Back Bay Murders - Paperback

Part of him longed for it to happen. What would the media call him? Killer of the Charles? Murderer on the Charles? The Back Bay Murderer? How many more could he kill before they caught on? Year after year, there was nothing on TV besides, "Another accidental drowning on the Charles."

At only sixteen, Jack finds himself in an ultimatum--join a clandestine organization or be turned in to the police. While the organization upholds a strict code of conduct, Jack can't fight his sociopathic urges, a reason the organization picked him up in the first place. On the other side of the Charles, Drew, a gritty, discreet private investigator, is hired to probe into the drowning of a young man. Upon examining the young man's body at the Boston morgue, he discovers someone else is interested in John Doe 2199--Ashley Tinder. Drew realizes there's something deeper going on than just a series of murders as he untangles Ashley's involvement.

"Intricate and hard-hitting, Back Bay Murders is an essential crime novel to add to your collection. Bonar will have you cringing--but in that "I can't look away" sense only a great thriller can produce."
