Dr. Shantaram Kane, an IIT Bombay and MIT alumnus, distinguished chemical engineer and researcher, devoted over four decades to the science of therapeutic substances. His breakthrough Super-Extract Process converts herbs, foods, marine and animal products, minerals, herbo-mineral and classical formulations into Super-Extracts that are potent at 100-1000 times lower doses. Launched by the IIT Alumni Council on India's 79th Independence Day, this compendium also seeded the Council's open-source healthcare platform for health and longevity - the first of its kind in the world.
Consisting of five books, it presents Dr. Kane's pioneering work, opening pathways for safe, affordable, and accessible applications across humans, plants, and animals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Super-Extracts attracted attention for their affordability and accessibility.
