Flea covered the original red white & blue 1998 Punk Bass; a Modulus Custom FB4; with stickers featuring some of his favorite punk bands including the Sex Pistols, the Ramones, Circle Jerks & Fugazi.

It was used extensively for the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ By the Way album and tour circa 2002–2003.
