Awakenings

Based on British neurologist Oliver Sacks' memoir, this powerful drama stars Robin Williams as shy neurologist Dr. Malcolm Sayer, who uses an experimental drug to help the catatonic patients of a Bronx hospital and allow them to function normally for the first time in years.
