Aurora Cantus: A Poet's Book of Hours is the debut poetry collection from Southern Gothic Folk poet-songwriter Silvia Passiflora - thirty-three poems written during the months of Grammy(R) consideration, when uncertainty, grief, and the discipline of waiting became the only available materials.

The title is Latin for "dawn song." These are poems of first light and long dark - of eagles and witnesses, of metadata and mercy, of what it costs to make something and release it into silence. Written at kitchen tables, late at night, before sunrise, they move between the liturgical and the visceral, the domestic and the vast.
