Winner of seventeen Academy Awards, The Lord of the Rings was brought to the big screen by New Line Cinema and directed by Peter Jackson. Weta Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and physical effects manufacture for all three films.
The dimensions of the print are 23.2in x 11.7in (590mm x 297mm). A lovely cinematic format. Exactly the same size as the previously released prints.
It's printed on good quality 170 gsm satin paper and ships rolled up in a VERY sturdy poster tube. It will arrive in pristine condition, ready to be framed and hung, pride of place, in your home.
Weary from their journey and staggered by the loss of Gandalf, the beleaguered companions are both awed and wary of this strange, enchanted place.
Weta Workshop designer Gus Hunter depicts the eight remaining members of the Fellowship of the Ring as they walk in the light of Caras Galadhon, city of the Elves, in the forest of Lothlórien. While great mallorn trees tower above them, twinkling with light, they begin their long climb upon the branches where the Lady Galadriel awaits.
This moment has been expertly captured by Gus Hunter: long-time Weta Workshop conceptual designer who started on The Lord of The Rings trilogy alongside Jeremy Bennett and was an early adopter of the digital painting techniques Weta uses today.

"There are people of extraordinary talent operating in today's world that have similar skills as the great masters of yesteryear. It just happens to be that the canvas that they paint on is the darkened screen of the cinemas of the world."
- Richard Taylor - CEO & Co-founder, Weta Workshop
