Checkin' it Out

Certified enthusiast, scholar, historian, and performer of the blues Billy Boy Arnold found himself in an unexpected situation at London's Pathway studios in 1977. In the midst of one of his many British tours, an impromptu recording session was arranged with a group of musicians who were at the time complete strangers. Despite no real plan of action, this ex Bo Diddley sideman and his new band quickly familiarized themselves as only great blues musicians do, sunk into the jam and had an album ready in just two days.
