Eric Cowan is a professor in the Department of Graduate Psychology at James Madison University. He teaches in the Masters and Doctorate programs in Counseling and is licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of Virginia. Eric served as past director of Counseling and Psychological Services, James Madison University's outpatient clinic, and has also maintained a private practice. He is the recipient of numerous awards in teaching and scholarship. Eric lives alongside the banks of a mountain stream at the foot of the Allegheny Mountains.
