Jones, Brian G.: - A Carnegie Mellon University graduate and native of Washington, DC, Brian began designing exhibits for the Smithsonian Institution, the world's largest museum, education, and research complex. His artwork includes sculpture, silkscreen, wood carvings, painting, illustrations, graphic design, and more! His work has been exhibited throughout the DC area, and New York State, with recognition from Print Magazine and the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). In his spare time, he enjoys working on projects with his little sister. He currently teaches in the Communication Design department at City University of New York for the College of Technology in Brooklyn, NY. He and his wife live in Manhattan, NY.Metallo, Alysia: - Alysia was born and raised in Washington, DC, and is a pianist, singer/songwriter, and teacher. She is also a polyglot. (That means she speaks several languages!) She studied music at Catholic University of America and Howard University and studied world languages at the University of Madrid, Spain. She continued her studies in teaching at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. In her spare time, she enjoys songwriting, and working on projects with her older brother, Brian. She is excited to be able to present this book as her first in a series of children's books that are educational and entertaining. She lives in Northern, VA with her husband and their three daughters.
