Annie Russo: Proposals & Proclivities - Hardcover

This second volume in the life of Annie Russo chronicles the age of every human's life when they become faced with the concept of adulthood. Is one's future fated to only be a choice between which proposal to accept, given any number of random circumstances, or are the natural proclivities of one's character the dominate factor in deciding one's destiny?

From career choices to choices of the heart, Annie and her close-knit friends move forward in seeking their own self-definition in a world experiencing the greatest social changes since the Civil War.

As the war in Vietnam was winding down after holding hostage the attention of the people for the last seven years, the country began to shift its attentions to embracing the pleasures in life. As a "live and let live" policy became endorsed, the nation's largest generation received the freedom to follow their dreams - and thus the process began.

As in all generations, there were those who moved on to seek adventure, those who sought to take over the reigns of heredity, and those who decided to create a new social legacy of their own. Uniqueness became a synonym for independence as the might of the country's greatest economic machine was now rapidly disbanding the social regimentations of the past.
