Dr. Anderson Young served as the Program Director of Medical Laboratory Science from its inception until her retirement.'While at Brigham Young University, Dr. Anderson Young served as Department Chair of the Microbiology Department, Director of the Biology Office, and Associate Dean in the College of Life Sciences.' She received the University Abraham O. Smoot Citizenship Award.Dr. Anderson Young has published many articles, chapters, and books.' The subjects range from Clinical Chemistry and Hematology to histories of early settlements and genealogy.' The Atlas of Hematology was first published in 1997 and has evolved to the third edition of Anderson's Atlas of Hematology.'
