Epstein, Richard L.: - Richard L. Epstein received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in mathematics and then studied philosophy in Wellington, New Zeland and later with Benson Mates at Berkeley. He has been a Fulbright Fellow to Brazil and a National Academy of Sciences Scholar to Poland. He has written books on propositional logics, computability, and predicate logic. In his recent work has enlarged the scope of modern formal logic considerably. He is the Head of the Advanced Reasoning Forum.
