After early work with Benjamin Britten and the English Opera Group, Paul Boucher trained in Switzerland and at Moscow's Tchaikovsky Conservatory. A former globe-trotting violinist, he later directed a French arts festival and founded a music education programme for London primary schools. He now curates the Montagu Music Collection at Boughton House and runs a modernist music and literature programme at Charleston Farmhouse in Sussex.
