In short, we can summarize two indication areas where we recommend aloe: externally, in a gel form for skincare, and internally, in the form of a resin, for short-term treatment of constipation.All this is nicely presented in this book by Samo Kreft.Samo Kreft is a full professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana, where he researches medicinal plants and other medicines of natural origin and lectures students of pharmacy. He also held professional positions at the European Medicines Agency in London. He has published more than 100 original scientific papers in renowned scientific journals.
