Cody J. Perron is a former Special Agent with the U.S. Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) and a former United States Marine. As a DS Agent Cody conducted federal criminal investigations, protection of dignitaries, and security operations management. His past assignments include Houston, Texas, Baghdad, Iraq, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Erbil, Iraq, and San Diego, California. Cody has protected the highest level government officials in some of the most arduous locations. Some notable "protectees" include President Barack Obama, Secretary of State John Kerry, Senator John McCain, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraff, and the Dalai Lama. In his overseas assignments Cody developed, implemented, and managed security programs to keep diplomats safe. He led U.S. Marine Detachments, Surveillance Detection Teams, Emergency Response Teams, Quick Reaction Forces, and more. He developed emergency response procedures to active shooters, terrorist attacks, hostile mobs, and more. Cody is the current Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder of Fidelis Global Group, LLC: a travel risk management and security consulting firm that provides international travel risk assessments, security reviews, safety, security, and active shooter preparedness education, and emergency action planning for businesses and schools. He lives in San Diego, California.
