Belladonna (Blue) Wickam spends her days painting and her afternoons walking along the sandy shore of her quiet coastal town- the perfect routine.

When the body of a famous environmentalist winds up in the nearby wetlands, Blue takes it upon herself to comb the sleepy shoreside for clues. She's tossed into the deep end as the storm of the century threatens to make landfall just before Christmas Eve.
