Scott, Kirsti M.: - A graphic designer by trade and an avid seaglass collector, Kirsti Scott's designs combine her loves of seaglass, graphic design, and typography. Kirsti enjoys looking for sea glass on the beaches of Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties. As her collection of sea glass has grown, she has found new ways to turn it into art. Kirsti creates mosaics using beautifully worn pieces of genuine sea glass, photographs them, and turns them into art prints, greeting cards, and more. Each mosaic takes a few hours to make and sometimes starts one way and ends up another. When not wandering the beaches collecting seaglass, sea marbles, fossils, and pottery shards, she is the Creative Director and founder of Scott Design. She has degrees in Economics from Stanford University and Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design.
