Julian Hamilton can handle his newly enhanced strength, speed and senses. It's his new appetites that are going to get him in serious trouble.
Guiding those two men deep into the Bangladeshi forest to observe a notorious man-eating tiger was a mistake. Julian should have followed his instincts and turned them away. The fallout: two dead and partially eaten strangers, two bullet holes in his chest and some extraordinary gifts from the tiger he's forced to kill in an act of mercy.
With little more than the names of the dead men, Julian goes to Chicago to find out who wanted him dead and made him kill the tiger. Vengeance isn't Julian's only unfinished business. It's been thirteen years since he's been home. He has relationships to repair and needs to finally confront the trauma caused by his twin sister's death.
As he wrestles with the consequences of the tiger's dangerous gifts, he discovers closure and revenge are hard to find, and the only person who can help him is the same person who wanted him dead.
A Taste For Man is a dark, genre-bending thriller that draws inspiration from Michael Crichton, Cormac McCarthy and Stephen King.
