Pappas, Patrick H.: - Patrick H. Pappas was born in Dallas, Texas, in 1929. His passion for history began in third grade, followed by interests in poetry and philosophy in seventh grade. He attended the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, in 1948, after completing two years of pre-med. After his internship in City County Hospital in Fort Worth and serving as a flight surgeon in the US Air Force, and a residency in internal medicine in Galveston, he practiced internal medicine in Lubbock, Texas, from 1959 to 2005. Since retiring, he has published two books on Amazon and is currently working on a five-volume series titled Reflections on Man's Eternal Plight: The Quest for the Meaning off Life and the Pursuit of Happiness.
