Miller, Lucy Foster: - Lucy Foster Miller was a writer and active member of the Fort Davis community.Francell, Beth: - Beth Francell, the oldest grandchild of Lucy and Espy Miller, was raised in Midland but spent time in Fort Davis with her Lucy, especially after Espy died. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas, was a founding member of the Wichita County Heritage Society using her talents to create state historic markers for Wichita Falls. She was the founding Director of the Ferrill-Wilson Museum, a living history farm, in Plano, Texas. She attended the School of Landscape Architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington and in 1996 she and her husband purchased her grandparent's historic home in Fort Davis. For twenty-five years, following Lucy's love of gardening, she owned REBloom Designs. Currently, when not researching family history and gardening, she pursues her other passion, painting in pastel.
