She developed Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) and Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures (PNES) as a result of severe childhood abuse and trauma throughout her life, rendering her unable to work. Debbie now enjoys a very simple life, and is surrounded by nature where she is on a path of healing. She tells her story of determination and hope so it will inspire others.
