Ker, Crawford: - Crawford Ker, born in Philadelphia to Scottish immigrant parents, spent his childhood in Dunedin, Florida. With a Catholic upbringing and a fierce determination, he took a one-way ticket as a walk-on at Arizona Western College. There, he became a 1st Team All-American and later excelled at the University of Florida, becoming the strongest college football player in just two years. Drafted in the 3rd round of the 1985 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, he earned a spot on the All-Decade Team and became the highest-paid lineman. Ker also built a successful restaurant chain, turning it into a $100 million business.
