It had been eighty years since the mysterious disappearance of the Wellar family in 1934, but now events were again calling attention to the house. When she and her husband Robbie become drawn into the grip of the infamous house, they would need the help of new friends, a little humor, a lot of luck and maybe even some other-worldly inspiration to solve the mystery.
Laurie Cook is from a small rural town in Saskatchewan, Canada. After a thirty year career in the financial sector, Laurie decided to try her hand at writing the type of books she loves to read. It has been such an enjoyable experience that she continues to write. Laurie grew up with many pets and horses and likes to add these elements to her stories. Always a creative person, she finds writing another outlet, like the needlework and hand crafts that she is constantly developing.
