Simran Parasher, the author of A Guinea Pig in the Wild, enjoys learning about animals, especially guinea pigs and how they see the world. A Guinea Pig in the Wild is based on a time when her own guinea pig ran away from her, slipping through a hole in her fence. However, a few hours later he miraculously made his way back. In an exciting story, portraying curiosity and creativity, she imagines his adventurous escapade meeting and interacting with other animals outside the boundaries of his home.
She hopes to spark adventure and understanding in each child that reads this book, just like it did for her and her brother.
