A Guide to the Pre-Civil War Land Records of Colleton County, South Carolina - Paperback

After the records of the Colleton County Courthouse were destroyed during the Civil War, many documents of land transactions before the war were re-recorded and eventually put on file. This work summarizes the information in those documents.
