Returning to the UK on 1 June 2009 from visiting a client in Paris, Chris Chesney unexpectedly found himself arrested at Gare du Nord under an EAW issued by the Tribunale di Roma, accused of defrauding Telecom Italia and others of 67 million. This book tells of his bizarre experiences over the next nearly 5 months in different, often medieval prisons in France and Italy, where neither he nor his prosecutors seemed to understand exactly what crimes he had allegedly committed, before he finally managed to secure his release in late October 2009.
