Carmen Daniels is young, independent and one year shy of her bachelor's. She has her whole life ahead of her. Then one day she meets Todd. Too good to be true, it's not long before he proposes and moves in. By the time the abuse has spiraled out of control, Carmen has lost her ideal job, her scholarship and, most of all, her freedom.
