The complete solo piano works of Brahms, Chopin and Rachmaninoff are in the set as well as all the 32 Piano Sonatas by Beethoven, the 48 Preludes and Fugues of Johann Sebastian Bach and all the major solo works of Schumann and Liszt. There are many piano transcriptions by Liszt including Beethoven's nine symphonies, Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique and Harold in Italy, as well as Brahms' Third and Fourth Symphonies that Biret transcribed herself.
