In 1964 Don and Betty were married and spent their lives together for 58 years working with the spiritual, physical, vocational and social needs of the people of the Deaf Community Internationally. They worked together with Deaf Communities in North America, Central America, Central America, the Caribbean, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. They have worked Asia, Europe and behind the Bamboo Curtain. Betty died in 2022 and Don today lives in El Paso, TX serving as Director of World Mission Society, American Society for the Deaf and Don Cabbage Publishing.
