40 Days of Reflection: Devotions for Lent - Paperback

Lent is a time of repentance and acknowledging where we have fallen short of God's expectations. We set aside these 40 days to reflect on our relationship with God. How can we build a closer, stronger relationship? Some people "fast" or give up things that are dear to them for Lent. Consider how you can grow during this time. Think of this as a self assessment, but instead of for your employer's annual review, it is a a time to look at yourself through God's eyes. Are you doing the things God wants you to do? Are you exhibiting the traits of Jesus?

Take each daily devotional and reflect on where you can apply it to your life. Do an honest assessment of your shortcomings (as we all have them) and ask for His guidance to becoming more Christ-like in your life. Use this to draw closer to God and prepare your heart for the celebration of Easter.
