Es autor de Futbolcedario, El fútbol contado con sencillez, Tantos Mundiales, tantas historias, Memorias en blanco y negro y El último minuto, además de coautor de Gracias, Vieja, libro que recoge las memorias de Alfredo Di Stéfano. Actualmente mantiene una columna en As, colabora semanalmente en El País y ejerce como comentarista en la Cadena SER.
Alfredo Relaño is one of Spain's most influential sports journalists. Trained at the Official School of Journalism in Madrid, he has worked for some of the country's leading media outlets and was part of the founding team of El País. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions across print, radio, and television, playing a key role in shaping modern sports journalism.
He is the author of Futbolcedario, El fútbol contado con sencillez, Tantos Mundiales, tantas historias, Memorias en blanco y negro, and El último minuto, and co-author of Gracias, Vieja, which recounts the life of Alfredo Di Stéfano. His later works include Nacidos para incordiarse and the widely read 366 historias del fútbol mundial que deberías conocer. He currently writes a column for As, contributes weekly to El País, and works as a match commentator for Cadena SER.
