See Jesus like you never have before.

Have you ever wanted to better understand the language and customs of the Holy Scriptures? Jewish culture is steeped in imagery that points to Christ and will help open your heart to God's ways.

Pastor Ed Grifenhagen grew up in a devout Jewish home before Jesus transformed his life. In 365 Hebrew Words Every Christian Should Know, he extracts hundreds of Jesus-focused truths from Hebrew and ancient Jewish practices. Throughout this 365-day devotional, you will

  • learn the meanings and pronunciations of Hebrew words,
  • discover the richness of Jewish festivals and traditions, and
  • connect these insights to their fulfillment in Christ.

Deepen your relationship with Jesus as you explore how Hebrew reveals the beauty of the gospel.

Ed was raised in a devout Jewish home in South Georgia, immersed in the traditions, holidays, customs, and rituals of his family's faith. His father was a West Point graduate, and his mother's family narrowly escaped Nazi Germany in the late 1930s.

For much of his life, Ed dismissed the Bible as nothing more than a book of fairy tales--useful for moral guidance, perhaps, but hardly true. At thirty-five, he decided it was only fair to read the book he had so easily rejected. Disproving it, he assumed, would be simple enough. But God had other plans. On January 2, 2000, he opened to Genesis 1:1 and spent the next year voraciously engulfed, verse by verse, in God's Word. On January 17, 2001, he surrendered his life to Christ.

Ed spent three decades in the business world before becoming a pastor, author, and speaker. He currently serves as a lead pastor in Georgia and is the director of the Christian Film Foundation. He also founded M2540--a nonprofit ministry to the homeless--and cofounded Set Shepherds, which provides chaplains on film sets. Married to Susan since 1988, he is the father of two sons and the proud grandfather of four.

He holds a BA from the University of Georgia and a master of theological studies (with high distinction) from Liberty University. You can connect with him at edgrifenhagen.com or on social media @edgrifenhagen.
