《"轻模式"（03）：风筝式督导》是以新上任的经理王小云为主人公，针对其上任之初所遇到的一系列问题（如布置任务时没有明确的目标，导致员工理解执行出现偏差；事无巨细凡事亲自过问，指导过多，使员工觉得不被信任；指导过少或不指导又使工作目标出现偏差或问题；没有激励机制，做得不好的挨批评，做得好的被忽视，造成人才流失，等等），介绍了一种新型的管理工具--风筝式督导，打破了目前企业管理中"一抓就死，一放就乱"的困局。 "Light Mode" (03): Kite Steering starts with the protagonist, the newly appointed manager Wang Xiaoyun, who faces a host of problems the moment he takes office (The lack of clear goals when assigning tasks causes employees' misunderstandings and misoperations; micromanaging everything personally with too much instruction creates a sense of mistrust; too little or no instruction leads to deviation from the objectives or even crisis; the lack of incentives means criticism if employees do a poor job and indifference if they do a good job, which eventually leads to increased turnover), and goes on to introduce a new management tool - Kite Steering, which is meant to help companies resolve the predicament where "management leads to inflexibility and autonomy leads to chaos".
