Zen Mind, Thinker's Mind - Paperback

Buddhism, per Zen Mind, Thinker's Mind author L. Ron Gardner, is in need of an "upgrade." According to him, "there isn't a single living Buddhism teacher or writer who has 'cracked the code' and is thus able to properly elaborate on Buddhadharma, Consciousness, and Awakening." Given his view of the "fallen state" of Buddhism and his belief in his ability to "resurrect" it, he has written this book.
In response to a series of epiphanies, L. Ron was moved to put aside another Buddhism book he was working on, and instead devote himself to this Zen text. The gist of these epiphanies was the insight that Zen, primarily due to the influence of Madhyamaka, epitomizes the downfall of Buddhadharma; therefore, it deserved his first attention.
