Zar Electrik is a trio from Marseille, active on the Mediterranean scene. Anass Zine's bewitching voice with it's North African influences, accompanied by traditional instruments such as the oud and the gumbri, blends subtly with Arthur Péneau's deep voice. The latter introduces his hybrid African influences through his kora, which he mystifies with electric effects.
