2016 release. All for the Love of Sunshine is a departure from Zagers' debut of original compositions, Still/Alive. The collection of covers from the American songbook is as much a salute to the singers and songwriters of past generations as it is a reminder that our travails in matters of the heart are nothing new. When one finds love, do they stop singing of heartache? Do they wish to be alone again? Do they still yearn for something more? Recorded and arranged in bursts of deranged fever between August 2011 and October 2014, All for the Love of Sunshine asks these questions in their original voice and answers them to the tune of Zagers' distinct brand of ambient/industrial Americana.
