Nanette Workman as a singer/songwriter/musician whose showbiz background combined with an indomitable Aries character has produced a woman of singular determination and ambition. But Nanette's tough-as-nails public image belies a more sensitive, if not vulnerable, temperament whose warmth endears her to most people who meet her. This album is an apt portend for Nanette's future musical direction. Some of her country roots are to be found here, but more important, and now definitely more to Nanette's taste, is the raw rock sound that has become the inspiration for the current phase of an already eventful musical career.
