Icelandic electronic pop outfit Vök delivered a fascinating debut album in the form of 2017's Figure. "Breaking Bones," "Show Me," and "Hiding" delicately merge the group's nocturnal electronica, downtempo soundscapes, and ethereal vocals. It represents a cross-section of icy and infectious stylings in one pulsating pastiche. Receiving critical acclaim, Cryptic Rock called it "an album of ten tracks that are dreamy, sometimes distorted and cold, and yet there is the overall feel of gossamer fine, white dove feathers."
