Voices with exceptional quality and the ability to blend are not common in the music industry. The Catamount Record label strived for many years to keep the vocal sound alive. In 1972 they brought together five young singers from different backgrounds who represented the one word that is always needed in any era - harmony. The material they chose featured some new sounds of the day, a few novelties, some great standards - all woven together with the versatility of the vocal group they dubbed "Vintage" - Abby Munford, Raymond Block, Charles Brooks, Pat Magnacavello and James Wright - five individually great musicians with an ageless talent and very gratifying taste.
