Vibia Perpetua: Early African Christian Martyr - Paperback

Christianity started in the Middle East and soon found it's way to Africa where many African Christians were persecuted by the Romans who had complete world dominion at the time. Vibia Perpetua was one such woman who showed such bravery in the face of death. She showed grace and humility but also a steely determination to stand for what she believed, that Jesus Christ was the Son of God.Missionaries many years later decided to take the gospel message to Africa, not realising the role Africa had played in the spreading of the gospel in the early church.
