Towns spent his later years teaching music at Central Harlem's Senior Citizen center, where he received awards for his work with the center's choir. Originally released in 1962 for the New York City based Decanter label, "So Many Days" b/w "Creation" showcases his golden voice on the pleading A-side ballad, complete with a string section and swelling vocal choir.
