This release is Summer Shade #002.Austin's Touch Girl Apple Blossom craft songs that hit straight at the most tender part of your heart. Their debut self-titled EP is a collection of jangly, nostalgic pop songs that feel as lived-in and intimate, immediately recalling the saccharine bliss of artists like Heavenly, Tiger Trap and Velocity Girl.Guitarists Olivia Garner & John Morales met playing in a country band & bonded over a shared love of twee music, which inspired them to get together and write some songs. Bassist Dustin Pilkington & drummer Charles Powell joined shortly after and the band played started to play shows around their home base of Austin, Texas. Last year the band hit the studio with Max Deems and tracked the four songs that would become the Touch Girl Apple Blossom EP onto an 8 track recorder and put it online in August.Available for the first time ever in a physical format, the Touch Girl Apple Blossom EP is now available as a 7" via Summer Shade.
