O'Riley, Christine A.: - Chris(tine) O'Riley has been writing poetry and stories since the age of eight, and she still has the heart of a little girl. She has been married to Dick for forty-five years. She is mother to six adult children and grandmother to four. Chris holds a BA in English. She also is an RN who has cared for childbearing families for many moons. Post retirement, she works part time in a family medicine practice. In addition to writing, Chris is an inspirational speaker. She enjoys grandmother-ing, the Adirondacks, making music, swimming, kayaking, the Beatles, snowshoeing, birdwatching, fireflies, and all things Celtic. She is the founder of Pencraft Creative Writers group in Rochester, New York, where she lives.Avery, Corinne K.: - Always an artist, Corinne grew up with her five siblings on a farm surrounded by sheep in a beautiful patchwork of hillsides in upstate New York. Corinne painted with watercolors as a young girl, later obtaining a BFA from SUNY Potsdam, and a masters of art education from Nazareth College of Rochester. She was certified to teach K-12 art. After two teaching jobs, Corinne chose to be a stay at home mom to her three children. She began reading children's books voraciously to her kids, filling the gap that she had as a child. Corinne took courses in watercolor and children's book writing and illustration at the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery's Creative Workshop. Her love for children's literature led to her passion for writing and illustrating her own children's books.
