Christopher Cannon is a Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of English and Classics at Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of From Literacy to Literature: England, 1300-1400 and the coeditor of The Oxford Chaucer. Steven Justice is professor emeritus of English at the University of California, Berkeley.
