Dr. Victor Paul Wierwille (December 31, 1916 - May 20, 1985) was the founder of The Way International. He was raised in, and later ordained by, the Evangelical and Reformed Church in 1941. He graduated from Mission House College with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Theology degrees. He then studied at The University of Chicago Divinity School and received a Master of Theology in practical theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. He received his Doctorate in Theology from Pikes Peak Bible Seminary and Burton College (A non-accredited institution).
