The New Covenant of Damascus gives great insight into the beliefs and practices of the Essenes. In this book you will read a fresh English translation of the Damascus Document, Community Rule, and other Dead Sea Scrolls. You will learn that they believed in the Messiah who was to be God incarnate, virgin born and have a First and Second Coming. They taught the first time the Messiah comes He will die to pay for our sin nature and reconcile us to the Father. They even predicted this event would occur in AD 32!
