The Jeffersons, created by award winning television writer, producer Norman Lear, was one of the longest-running sitcoms in TV history. Starring Isabel Sanford, Sherman Hemsley, Mike Evans, Marla Gibbs, Zara Cully, they portrayed a family who were able to move on up to a hi-rise apartment in Manhattan, New York.
