The Idler's Manifesto, Hope and Bonhomme's revolutionary summons to the pauper class is the influential political theory behind the movement of the E.U.I (Egoist Union International). After a few years of collaboration, the E.U.I together with its main founder, Alexander Hope and Co-founder Erik Bonhomme produced this declaration of their idea of egoism, in which they envisage a union of egoists without classes, private or public property or the existence of the state in the long term.

"The next great revolution will be that of automation. The powers that be are not prepared for the devastating effects this new mode of production will have on their economic systems, from the most depraved capitalist markets to the most humane of social orders. Alexander Hope, inspired by Max Stirner, argues that communism, like previous systems, will collapse due to internal contradictions, making way for egoism. In the Idler's Manifesto, he asserts that both capitalist and communist economies are incompatible with AI-driven automation. Hope envisions a "union of egoists"-a truly stateless, classless society-emerging after a "dictatorship of the pauper," where the economy shifts to an "economics of egoism" better suited to modern productive forces."
