David Brendan Hopes is an accomplished poet, playwright, and painter based in Asheville, North Carolina. Originally from Ohio, Hopes has taught at prestigious institutions including Hiram College, Syracuse University, and Phillips Exeter Academy, and currently serves as Professor of English at UNCA.
