Details: One of the defining acts of the girl group era, the Crystals, featured three successive female lead singers and a string of charted hits all produced by Phil Spector. Formed in the early 1960's in Brooklyn, NY, the original members were Barbara Alston, Mary Thomas, Dolores "Dee Dee" Kenniebrew, Myrna Girard and Patricia "Patsy" Wright. Presented here is the 1962 #1 hit "He's a Rebel," with lead vocal chores handled by Darlene Love, coupled with the 1963 Top Ten hit "Then He Kissed Me," with lead vocals by Dolores "LaLa" Brooks. Newly remastered.
